One of my favorite flowers. Find them in the woods which is one of my favorite places to be and very few people plant them. Some kind of a wildflower, but not in the field of wildflowers sort of way that most people associate with wildflowers. They are solitary and have to be appreciated when found. Subtle beauty in unexpected places. I find a lot of people aren’t familiar with them at all.
Original Drawing on grey toned paper. Done with colored pencils. Mounted on 11”x14” backer board with photos corners so that it can be easily removed (all archival).
